The LindBERG project blends sounds from all over Europe. The program includes works from the 20th and 21st centuries, in particular by the Finnish composer Magnus Lindberg (*1958) and the famous composer of the "Second Viennese School" Alban Berg.
Highlights include Lindberg's clarinet trio and his duo for clarinet and cello "Steamboat Bill Jr.", which was inspired by the 1928 silent film of the same name starring Buster Keaton. During the concert, an excerpt from the same film is shown to accompany this duo. The Italian composer Nino Rota, also known for his film music, also wrote a classical clarinet trio with which Trio Lys rounds off this project.
